Welcome, welcome! So glad you decided to drop by. If this is your first visit to Piano Animato, click on the title of this post to learn what it’s all about.
First things first: introductions. My name is Paul Schmutzler, and I run this-here piano blog. I’m a church music enthusiast, and I teach private piano lessons to boys ages five and up at my home in Harriman, Tennessee. Feel free to browse the categories or tags on the left of the page if you’re interested in specific content. Go ahead, don’t be shy. Just click one. I’ll wait here for you when you’re done. Still need some help? Let me provide a link here to get you started. Click me!
Back already? That was fast. Now listen…er…watch…as I share the ways you can keep in touch with this site while barely having to click a thing.
- Email: Sign up with the button at the bottom right of any page. You’ll see it where it says “Email Subscription.” Just enter your details in the boxes provided and confirm your address. Now that you’ve done that, you’ll get an email whenever a new post is added.
- RSS: It’s real simple syndication, but some people just don’t get it. If you don’t, don’t feel bad. If you do, then by all means add Piano Animato to your feed reader of choice. You can find the RSS feed here.
- Twitter: At the top of the left column, you’ll see my most recent tweets. If you want to follow them directly, you can find my Twitter page here and start following the site.
Now that you’ve made sure that you can’t possibly miss a thing from Piano Animato, let me hear from you! On most pages and posts, there is an option to comment at the bottom of each page. If you read or hear something that really strikes a chord with you, then feel free to write your comments or questions in that box. Your comment will be posted under the article, and forever preserved for the world to enjoy. If eternal perpetuation of your text is too heavy for you, you can simply email me directly by going to the contact page.
If commenting on an article is simply not enough to convey how much you love or hate the content, you can also easily share the post or page on any of the social networks listed below each page. Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Digg, WordPress, and Reddit are all represented. I’ve even supplied a handy-dandy print button if you like something so much you want to kill a tree and snail-mail it to your Aunt Lucy in Worcester that doesn’t have email.
Finally, if there’s anything you’d like to see on Piano Animato that’s not featured or not featured enough, drop me a line and suggest something. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas. Enjoy!
