Here’s a real oldie for you to enjoy. This song’s text dates back to the 13th century. The tune was written in the 17th century. This arrangement is from a trumpet solo book (with piano accompaniment) entitled “Give Me Jesus” written by Faye López and Mark López and published by Soundforth. Gordon (the trumpet player) and I have been able to collaborate on several songs from this book. It is great, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a book for teaming up with a trumpeter or similar instrumentalist.
