My blog was chosen to be a part of a new beta program offered by WordPress (my blog’s host provider.) It’s a new advertising system that they have introduced called WordAds. This will enable me to get paid a portion of what the advertisers pay to WordPress when people click ads on my site. Piano Animato wasn’t started to be a money-maker for me. It’s a labor of love that gives me an outlet to share thoughts and examples of church music.
That being said, there are some expenses that I have to pay in order to keep the site online. These ads could help me offset some of those costs so at least I’m not losing money from it. I want everyone who visits here to know that this is a trial that I am trying. I can turn it off at any time without any penalty. If you start seeing ads on this blog that are offensive, please let me know via the contact me page. I don’t want ads on my blog to become a distraction from the main message, so I will disable them if the content they contain goes against the philosophy of what I discuss here.
