In this June edition of the Piano Animato podcast I talk with Mac Lynch. Mac, along with his wife Beth, have been with the Wilds Christian Association for 30+ years. They’ve traveled putting on duet concerts and music clinics in addition to their regular duties writing and organizing music for the Wilds’ recording and composing arm. Mac has an intense burden to see young people get the educational and spiritual training necessary for full-time church music work. Enjoy, and as always, please let me know who you’d like to hear on the next podcast.

Great interview! I’ve been a Mac Lynch fan for years. My favorite recording of his is the CD entitled “My son, give me thine heart”. I bought it years ago as a cassette at the Father / Son campout at the Wilds. It’s one of those timeless CD’s I never get tired of. I like how there’s narrative between songs that give a life story relationship between father / son and how Jesus is the focal point at every turn. Thanks for sharing this interview.
Glad you enjoyed it, Gordon. These podcasts are really enjoyable to record. Any suggestions on who I might interview next?
I finally made time to listen this morning. I enjoyed it very much, especially the background information for some of Mac’s songs.
