“Before you Now” is the Pettit Team’s 2012 album, and it features some of their best recordings to date. Each song helps form the theme of living “every moment of our lives in the presence of God.” There is an emphasis of songs that portray a candid, one-on-one conversation with God. Songs like Search Me, Know Me, I’ll Never Forsake You, Mercy Awaits, and Lord Forgive Us all have a theme of complete honesty before the Savior. Piano recordings for India

Our church financially supports Santhosh and Sophie George who are missionaries to Kerala, India (shown in map above). Recently our church sent a care package to them. In a list of requested items, I saw that they would like to have some recorded accompaniment for several songs that they sing in their services. I was able to obtain permission to record three of the songs that they asked for. (more…)

This spring, the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team released a new all-vocal album entitled “Come Boldly.” The title is drawn from the second track on the CD, an original song by D. Herbert (lyrics), Charles Wesley (lyrics), Clint Wells (music), Brian T. Murphy (music) and Joey Hoelscher (chorus/arrangement). No, I am not kidding. I was stunned by the number of people involved in many of the songs on this album. It’s not uncommon to find five or six individuals involved in writing, composing, arranging, and orchestrating many of the songs found in “Come Boldly.” The quality of the recordings and song selection is spectacular as a result of the collaboration of numerous talented people.
